Today has been hard. Real effing hard. I love that

Today has been hard. Real effing hard. I love that I can be honest and open here. It’s super helpful when I’m spiraling.

My love and I have been fight the majority of today. Like ugly fighting. Not physical so please know that. Just more verbal jabs leaning towards intention to really hurt each other. Long story short. He’s upstairs in the apartment while I’m crying in the car.

It’s been a day. I’m emotionally spent and the kicker is that we need to be on a flight in less than 48 hours.

We both are so bruised and damaged.

Thanks for listening and I have lots of words that need to be said and written. Blog post coming soon.

I had my first therapy appt in 3 years today. I’ll write more about in it the blog this week but long story short.. it was rough. I’m 4 years removed from my abuser. 3 years removed from thinking I was ok and had everything under control. Fast forward to this year of crying, panic attacks and triggers. Finally got my butt back in the seat and started talking. Proud of myself for asking for help again.
